Mermaid Release Notes v1.1.1.3

We are pleased to announce that the latest version of Mermaid is now available. In this release we’ve made a number of changes to improve the user experience, particularly when working with the map.

MM-1869: Improvements to map side bar.

After adding support for Shapefiles in version 1.1.1.1 we decided to make a number of changes to how items on the map are added and edited. These changes should make it much easier to add and items and to edit them. Read more >

Mermaid Release Notes v1.1.1.2

The newest release of Mermaid is now live.  Over the past couple of weeks developed a new utility to assist our European users called Treylya. We’ve also performed a number of small bug fixes and usability improvements for Mermaid.

New Features and Functionality

MM-1502: Tool to convert ZIPS from UK-CSV to Euro-CSV.

Some of our European users wanted to access the contents of the raw ZIP files that the Mermaid simulator kicks out (details here). Unforunately because Mermaid works in UK/US CSV format, it’s not easy to open these CSVs in Excel when running in a European culture. Read more >

Mermaid Release Notes: Version 1.1.0.21

We have had a busy few weeks training new Mermaid clients, so welcome on board to all our new users. In this release we have a new feature for setting task lengths in repeats, detailed below. Please feel free to comment or use the support portal to give us your feedback.

New Features

MM-1016: Set task lengths from a table for different repeats.

We now have the ability to setup our own specific durations for each repeat of a task. This means that when you are setting up a repeating group where a particular task varies from one repeat to the next, you can now set it up to have different task lengths on each repeat of the task or group. As you can tell from the MM-number, this has been on the list for some time! It’s now possible to export data from the Gantt chart (found under Setup-Tasks-Gantt Chart) to Microsoft Project. Read more >

Mermaid Release Notes: Version 1.1.0.17

Over the last two weeks we’ve really been hammering Mermaid on some more complex analyses, and been able to use them as a proving ground for some significant performance improvements. In the background we’ve been working away on new features, but we thought that you’d really appreciate seeing these bug fixes and performance gains for yourselves.

Mermaid Release Notes: Version 1.1.0.14

Every two weeks we deliver a new set of features and improvements. We would like to say a particular, “thank you” to all of our users who have contributed their thoughts and priorities into helping make this release our most user-driven release yet. Your feedback is much appreciated.

As well as the technical improvements below, we’ve successfully trialled remote training. This means that our more distant customers are able to train effectively on Mermaid.
